Has anyone gotten the example in this

article to work or is there an updated version somewhere?

I've found several discrepancies between the article and
the current tool.  My application doesn't appear to work either,
which might have something to do with the fact that
the referenced .gif file doesn't exist?

I should be able to figure it out, but I didn't
plan on having to debug the article as well as my program.
