[news.eclipse.tools] QUESTION: ErrorTickManager and methods/types

RE: org.eclipse.jdt.internal.ui.packageview.ErrorTickManager

Is there a reason why getErrorInfo() in this class was set up only to handle
compilation units, packages, and projects? (It was fun to find where this
was happenning ;)

I'd like to have it handle methods and types as well so we can see "x" next
to methods and types with errors.

I was thinking of making a quick mod to try it (I think it shouldn't be a
hard change) and sending it to IBM/OTI, but I wanted to see if there was a
reason why it's like it is, first.
