Yes, we are working on "load left/right" functionality. In fact
the merge viewers already support load left/right (as you can see in the
universal two-way/three-way compare). However we decided to disable this
functionality in the modal "Replace from..." dialogs for as long as we don't
have a clear story about editing in modal dialogs vs. editing in editors.
