Scott, the disclaimer is there because the function is still evolving and we
cannot guarantee things will not change. While we are not trying to change
things for the sake of change, the fact is the update support has not yet
reached the same level of relative maturity as some of the other Eclipse
components. So, you are free to use the function, but in subsequent releases
of Eclipse it will likely be necessary for you to repackage your components,
change the layout of the server site, possibly run server-side function, etc.
We will try to be compatible where reasonable, but no guarantees.
