The defined default editor works - but if you chose an alternative editor, as
Gary suggests might be done for files with the goober.java extension, the
alternative editor becomes the default (at least that happens when I play with
some code delivered with alt editors defined for the .XML extension).

This happens from the navigator view - but not the tool specific view. The tool
specific view does not allow the other editors to be seen (the Open with...
option has been removed from the tool specific view).

Is there a way of making the default sticky such that alt editors could be
opened from the navigator without loosing the current default?
