Scott,

The update support is included in 0.9 as an experimental feature (i.e., you
should expect the technology to change somewhat over time) but it is working
and we use it. Keep in mind that the "server" is just a web server with a
particular structure.  If it is not working for you, you should check the
document/directory structure you have.

Note that we have encountered some problems with web servers which are not
configured to return something for directories.  In general we have had good
success with "out of the box" Apache installs.
