Assaf, Guy, Roy, (others)... do you think we could avoid these FAQ
questions if we improved the installation instructions on the
website/downloads page to point to these more current wiki docs?

To check go to help-->About Eclipse and click on Configuration Details.
You should be able to determine the version of java you are using from
that, look for something like
java.version=1.5.0
which in my case shows that it is Java 5.0
