Well after some fiddling I replaced my pure-ftpd server in favor of
proftpd and now the Aptana ftp syncing works beautifully. It's a very
handy solution, I work locally and after testing and debugging I just
sync with the online site.

What is done with file you delete locally? Will it be removed on the
server at the next synchronization?

That is what I'm looking for. I always used the ftp/webdav feature for
remote ftp synchronization. But with Europe 3.3 I cannot get this
feature working properly. I even tried the 3.3M6 version of the ftp/webdav.

OK already solved. I had to enable it. The ftp/webdav was disabled

I have the same Problem. I can't install the sftp PlugIn and I get the same error.
What do you mean with "enable" the ftp/webdav PlugIn? And how did you install the ftp/webdav PlugIn?

I'm working on a Mac...
