I've been using Eclipse PDT (R20080103) for a couple of months, and in
the past couple of weeks I've had a few unrecoverable hangs. Processor
stuck at 100% and the application not responding. I only left it for 5
minutes or so, but it looked just like a non responsive windows
application does.
In the previous case I lost a fair bit of work because I thought
Eclipse PDT was quite stable and hadn't bothered to save often, but now I
do.
I wasn't doing anything exciting at the time, just text-editing a php
file, although I have started to use the debugger, and probably leave it
open. Memory usage for the app was about 100Mb when I looked (after it
hung)
