I have filed the CQs for JAX-WS 2.0 runtime (jaxws-rt.jar) and for the nine 3rd party libraries from JAX-WS 2.0 that ORMF requires. A couple of these are already from Orbit as I have indicated below. I am willing to bundle the balance for Orbit or the subset that you consider of value. I also want to create a single bundle that acts as a JAX-WS client component which contains all of these, would Orbit be interested in carrying the combined bundle as well? I am thinking about using " Option 1 : Dominant package name" for all of this, do you agree with that?

You suggested that I file the ORMF CQs first then the Orbit as PB. Does this mean that After the bundles are in Orbit, I have to file new CQs to us the ones from Orbit or is the packaging just a technicality the EMO IP team is not concerned with.

Thanks Chris, will do. I am waiting on the answer to a question I asked the emo-ip team, but perhaps you know the answer. Here is the question as I posed it:

Before I start filling out a CQ I would like your advice on how to structure it. JAX-WS is a standard Java 5 EE component that is developed as a part of Glassfish here. It is distributed as a single executable jar file that installs as a hierarchy which contains 16 jar files. The source for JAX-WS is also distributed as a single executable jar file that installs as a hierarchy, but the source for all target jars are in a unified tree. Is it possible to have the entire library approved in one go or do I have to fill in 16 CQ? If I need to do 16 CQ, should I create a 17th that contains the source and point all of the other to it or attach a copy of the source to each?

Can you advise on this or should I wait for an answer from them?
