[news.eclipse.tools.jdt] Content-assist: How does the JDT do that little

Hi,

I looked at the code and can't seem to understand 100%.  I know that the 
completion processor has to provide the IContextInformation objects. 
But, how does the JDT detect that the user has typed in one parameter 
and the text in the little yellow window is changed to highlight the 
next parameter?  Thanks for any help!
