Apparently the data collection folks are considering supporting OS X:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=68111
Feel free to add yourself to the CC list and voice support for it.
Thanks,

Thanks Curtis. Actually, not being able to collect on OS X is a drag,
but I would still like to use Hyades with some of our Solaris and Linux
boxes. Was wondering if that would work, so thanks.

Hi Rob,
The Hyades UI should work reasonably well in OS X, I tested it a while
ago, although it is not officially supported. However, the data
collector hasn't been ported to the BSDs or Darwin yet, so you can only
collect profiling data from another machine running a supported
platform. I know that FreeBSD has a Linux binary compatibility layer, so
this may also be the case with Darwin. I've never actually tried it, but
it just might work.
Thanks,
Curt

Looked around. It seems that because there is no OS X data collector,
there is no real platform support?
