I've installed a complete 3.1.0_20041019_1201 setup including the RAC and
JBoss JMX agent. I'm seeing intermittent problems when launching the JBoss
agent and in particular it seems that trying to only launch the agent from
the launch configuration always fails.

As a workaround I would suggest you use the StatCon editor
(File->New->Other->StatCon->StatCon file) and launch it from there as that
seems to work consistently.

Oddly, launching from the launch configuration seems to work if the agent
has been run manually or if StatCon has been used previously to launch the
agent.

I'll check if the same problem is occurring in 3.2.
