My oversight, but I'll post the answer here for others to learn from...I 
was not selecting the correct radio button in the profiling page.  In 
the "Execution Time Analysis" preferences, be sure to select the "Show 
execution flow graphical details" radio button.  Yes, it's obvious once 
you see it.
