These are datacollection agents that run in the RAC.  The new agents in 3.1
are:

 - Linux System Trace (get linux system info)
 - JBoss Trace (get JMX counter info from a JBoss J2EE server)
 - Jonas Trace (get JMX counter info from a Jonas J2EE server)

In order to profile a linux host or anything else you must first have the
RAC installed and running on the machine you want to profile.  The RAC is
available for linux and other platforms from the hyades website (see below
for URL).  It is important to run the SetConfig script before you launch the
RAC to make sure any necessary environment variables are set (e.g. JBoss
server or Jonas server home variables in the case of the JMX agent)

To launch and profile a statistical data collection agent:
 - create a new project
 - do New->Other->StatCon->StatCon File
 - (the StatCon editor should now open)
 - Open up the 'Statistical Data Collection' node in the StatCon tree
 - Right-click on the agent you want to launch (e.g. Linux System Trace)
 - Choose 'New Trace'
 - make sure the RAC is running on the host you want to connect to
 - Enter the hostname of the linux host you want to profile and press OK
 - you can repeat the last part of this process and launch more agents to
compare data from different agents

The agent should connect and start fetching statistical data back.
Right-click or double-click on tree nodes to get children and to start
monitoring counters.
