Hi John,
I have installed eclipse 3.0 and could not perform two operations
mentioned the link given by you.
1. Could not perform the step 2.2 Configuring the plug-in environment. To
be specific I could not find <b>"Use classpath containers for dependent
plug-ins"</b> so that I could check this option
2. Could not perform the second part of the step 2.2 Configuring the
plug-in environment. To be specific I could not do the following <b>"Make
sure the "this application" option is selected and click the "Select All"
button so that all the plug-ins are selected. Then click "OK"."</b>
Hope you could provide me with a solution
Additionally I since I could not perform this step. I went ahead with the
step 3. Quick Start - Getting the Hyades Code from CVS. Here I got the
following Error when I entered the user name as "anonymous" and a blank
password. I got the following error on click of finish
"Authentication error:com.jcraft.jsch.JSchException: Session.connect:
java.net.UnknownHostException: deve.eclipse.org"
Hope this information is enough. hoping for an early solution.
With Regards
Murali
