Administrative issues

Project Membership

Additional existing Eclipse member (TBA)
- Due on first group call this week (w/c 24th Feb)
Fokus
- Ina was welcomed to the Hyades team call and is keen to get her team involved in the Model and Execution Environment groups in particular.
- Ina's team are releasing the final test profile on Monday 3rd March.
- First release of the Model (.001) should happen within the next two weeks. In time, the team aims to have weekly or even daily code builds.
- Harm described the process for publishing code within both the private and public repositories.
- ACTION - Mike to arrange for Ina to get involved in the Hyades-team mailing list, and receive back emails.

OMG Interface

- Ina outlined the coverage of the U2TP response to the UML Test profile RFP, and current activity in aligning with UML2.
- Discussed need to articulate the requirement for a UML2 project within Eclipse at the next board meeting, and maintain positive relationship with OMG
- ACTION - Mike to brief Ina prior to Eclipse Board meeting
- ACTION - Mike raise via John Duimovich to ensure visibility of requirement at Eclipse Board

Development Team Reports

Overall

- Plan for plans documents required from all groups
- ACTION - Mike, Harm to request these from specific groups

Model

- Group is starting to get through some issues, and the focus has improved
- Message log history piece will form part of the first release of the model, and is based on work to evolve a standard 'message log'. Harm involved in trying to define the structure of the message log.

Execution Environment

- Good work in allowing a common understanding of issues. Some effort required to prioritize activities.
- ACTION - Mike to get involved

Data Capture

- Group appear to be making good progress, and are working towards a documented specification and a code drop later this week which will include documentation.
- This can then be pushed out into the public domain

UI

- No information
- ACTION - Sam to look into this with Valentina

Current Release

- NONE

Upcoming Release

- Discussed the need to be focused on making a GA level contribution to the next release of Eclipse, due on March 28th
- If we do not achieve this, the next Eclipse release will be in June.

Marcomms

PR

- Discussed continuity press release concerning the new project members
- This would be an Eclipse press release handled via the Eclipse Marketing structures.
- Circulate this press release as an "FYI" to Hyades team
- ACTION - Barbara to handle incoming calls/requests from media contacts, farming out as appropriate.
- ACTION - Melanie to draft perss release and initiate process with Marketing/PR committees.

White Papers

- Ina's team to help with model-related white papers, once they have experience of it
- Documentation requirement to be rearticulated to subgroup leaders (action, ALL).

AOB

- Ina requested software that would help Fokus interpret the model
- ACTION - Harm to give Ina access to Component Test (the manual testing piece)
