Hyades Project Team Meeting (Conference call)
3rd February 2003

Administrative issues
Project Membership
	-	Bilateral discussions continue between members and other
vendors
	-	Members to bring such discussions to the Hyades group and to
the Eclipse chair as they mature

Face to Face Meetings
First meeting: January 28-29, 2003
	-	Established 5 work groups:
			o	Model
			o	Data Collection
			o	User Experience
			o	Other Services
			o	Execution Interfaces (small group, dealing with
real-time model export)
	-	Consensus is that there are still a number of areas within
each group that need to be addressed
	-	ACTION - Sam - to produce high-level notes of the agenda and
confirmation of the group leaders
	-	ACTION - Sam - to ask Alan Pratt to forward his notes from
last week's meeting to Mike Norman
	-     ACTION - Mike Norman to post notes of meetings to public
Hyades Newsgroups

Marcomms
	-	Mike, Barbara and Melanie continued the call to discuss
proposed Hyades PR plan
	-	Eclipse PR Sub Committee is working on an overall PR plan,
where PR activity is split by project. General Eclipse announcements
(e.g. anniversary or momentum) will be treated as separate projects.
	-	Need to work out a process within the PR plan to deal with
interest from journalists for contributed articles (these are all
currently being directed to Mike) and, subsequently, how to generate
additional media interest.
	-	Hyades team encouraged to propose additional materials (inc.
white papers):
			o	Rational and Scapa Technologies have both produced
white paper materials
			o	Barbara has been asked to look into writing a data
collection white paper
	-	ACTION - Melanie - to produce a draft Hyades project PR plan,
which will include a schedule of PR activity (inc. other materials, e.g.
white papers)


AOB
	-	Gary asked question regarding the certification of the
Parasoft product, with regard to the current ComponentTest framework
	-	Discussed Hyades ownership and development of this framework
			o	Changes and extensions required to the current
framework to make it suitable for Hyades development
			o	Rational proposed a new model concept at the
face-to-face meeting
			o	Highlighted requirement for continued contribution
to the discussions surrounding this.
			o	UML2 dependencies might emerge from these
discussions
			o		Aiming to resolve these issues surrounding the
model within 3 weeks
