Hyades Project Team Meeting (Conference call)
20th January 2003

Administrative issues
Standing Teleconference Agenda Agreed
Project Membership
-	No further update from last meeting
-	SilverMark and FOKUS interested in participating
-	Decision to wait until the first cut of the model is available
before involving new parties.

OMG interface
-	new version of OMG test profile due Jan 24
-	ACTION  Mike  to send this round Hyades-team@xxxxxxxxxxxxx when
available
-	ACTION  ALL  Face to face meeting  need to document a Hyades
group response to new version of OMG test profile

Electronic Access Issues
-	Parasoft  Gary Brunell had some issues accessing current model
-	Both Neil and Joe had spoken to Gary regarding some of his issues
-	Gary's Rational Rose license due to expire
-	ACTION  Sara to encourage Gary to email Joe and Sam with regard
to extending his license
-	Question arose regarding Hyades Private & Public repositories
are these both available?
-	ACTION  Harm Sluiman to come back with a proposal of what’s going
into the repositories and when.
-	Question arose regarding build automation, are we going to
replicate the Eclipse.org website on automated nightly builds and
testing of builds?
-	ACTION  Mike - add build automation to the agenda for the face to
face meeting
-	Question arose regarding the quickplace and if this is still used
to harbour pre-Hyades launch materials?  Mike to raise with Mark
Ericsson (Eclipse)

Face to Face Meetings
First meeting: January 28-29, 2003
-	Mike produced an agenda document and sent this to the Hyades team
for review
-	Items mentioned during call:
o	Provision of tooling to encourage eager vendors wishing to
participate in the project
o	Prioritising Workbench interfaces first, at the potential expense
of some
interoperability issues
o	Work packages  may require some further discussion on how these
are allocated and implemented, as there may be some awkwardness over the

crossover between the suggested way of allocating these packages
-	ACTION  Mike  to add Release Cycles to the agenda for this
meeting


Development Team Reports
-	Scapa Technologies  Neil working on extension to component test,
trying to overcome GUI issues, table trees on SWT etc.
-	Rational  Joe  getting up to speed, going through the various
‘hooks, and setting up email lists for interested parties within
Rational
-	Mike proposed a webex meeting to go over the Hyades documentation,

inviting project contributors to input
-	ACTION  Mike  to arrange a webex meeting after the face to face
meeting, around week beginning 3rd February 2003.


Current Releases
-	No current release


Upcoming Releases
-	Harm’s team working on releasing something this week (inc. Model
and tracing infrastructure, WebSphere tracing, no test creation
capabilities)


Marcomms
- 	Mike provided a short background on the PR activities surrounding

the launch of the Hyades project
- 	Melanie will attend both Hyades team meetings and Eclipse
Marketing Committee meetings
- 	Project team encouraged to create some additional marketing
materials (e.g. white papers) that can be passed to the Marc Erickson
for potential placement
- 	Continuity press release proposed.
