[news.eclipse.tools.gef] creating connections without user interaction

Hi,

I want to create connections between model elements without user 
interaction. imagine a modelelement know it´s parent, so when the 
modelelement exists, there is enough information to create a connection 
between the element and its parent.

but i don´t have any ideas how it can be done...
any help would be appreciated...
