Hi André,
While I worked on an IFailOverStrategy framework it turned out that both
Net4j and CDO would need to be deeply refactored to reliably support
state transfer of a CDOSession from one IChannel to another one. Many
questions are open in this regard:
201267: Failover strategy for CDO/NET4J

Long ago Simon filed this one:
203167: Multiple CDO Servers (failover+loadbalancing)

Howdie!
my current customer is getting into sales with our CDO based
prototype. He's wondering if there's any viable fail-over strategy for
CDO? As far as I know there's no solution at this time. Parts of the
solution might be the works on de-/reattaching objects. What about
database replication? Any ideas?
Cheers + Thanks
