I can only guess.  Note that when you get a message like this the Error 
Log will have a more details stack trace showing where things have gone 
wrong.  I'd suggest setting a breakpoint and using the debugger, your 
best friend, to see what's going on.  You're sure the getElements 
feature allows a box to be added to it?  With EMF 2.3 and Java 5.0, 
you'd get better support for type safety at compile time...
