Are you trying to build the source, or do you just want to view them? In my experience, if you are developing plugins for CDT you don't need to build them you just need to read them.

If this is what you want to do, I suggest you download
	Eclipse for RCP/Plugin-in Developers
and then, using the update mechanism, to install the CDT SDK

But, as I said, if you are beginner, reading and understanding even a fraction of the CDT sources is a very big job.
