Hi Toralf,
The answer you have come up with is correct, it is to control which side of the separator it comes up on. But that implies a couple of other things. 1) Favourites always appear on the menu, below the separator[ ... ]
I do agree with you, it isn't a big feature, and doesn't do much. But the little time savers like this is what makes Eclipse such a wonderful development environment.The thing is, I'm far from sure that all these time savers are actually saving time at all. I believe that in general, there is a limit to how many "time saving" features you can add to a user interface before they actually start slowing users down - because of the sheer number of UI items to keep track of and the amount of information to take in. I'm wondering if not Eclipse has crossed that line...
