[news.eclipse.tools.cdt] Creating a new plugin based on CDT

Hi

I am a newbie in CDT, (though not really new in Eclipse). We need to create 
a new plugin which will use a lot of CDT APIs (and Photran). What is the 
best way to learn ? Is there any pointer for beginner ?
