[news.eclipse.technology] Queries: Reg OPenVxml Perspective(Start Module not found by default)

Hi,

I have downloaded OPenVxml designer from http://www.eclipse.org/vtp/openvxml-announce/content/html/index.htm

I have installed JRE 5 from sun but, As i created a New application along with persona. I wont be able to see the Start module in the Main Canvas. How can i design Openvxml application using the designer? and how to get the start Module(i wont be able to insert any module to the Main Canvas may its due to Start Module not found).

Worked as per the Instruction found on the Website

Eclipse openvxml studio Installation Notes!
To use openVXML you will need to install the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version 5 (v1.5 or higher). Click here to download.

Loading openVXML onto your PC
Open the openVXML.zip file on the this CD. A new window will open up, allowing you to view these instructions while you unzip the executables. ( click here).

Extract the contents of the zip file to a location on your local hard disk that you will remember (your discretion).

Running OpenVXML
Locate the Eclipse.exe executable at [installation path]\OpenVXML\eclipse\eclipse.exe.

Double click the executable (eclipse.exe) to start Eclipse.

A dialog box will appear asking you to select a workspace location. The workspace is where Eclipse will store the files for voice projects. The default location is located in your home directory.

Note , please see the sample application section (click here) for instructions on using sample workspaces.

Eclipse will launch with the new workspace shown in the Java Perspective. Perspectives allow the user to filter what types of projects and files they will be working with. openVXML provides a perspective just for voice applications.

To Open this perspective, click on the Window menu option and select Open Perspective->Other. A list of available perspectives will be shown. Select the openVXML Perspective and click the OK button. The window will change to show the Projects view on the left side and an empty area to the right.

Grab the openVXML Getting Started Guide (click here). You're now well on your way to creating voice applications. Good luck and enjoy!
