Hi Philipp,

we already backported several fixes to the 1.2 branch. Take a look at 
this bug which shows all bugs should make it into the 1.2.2 branch.

I hope this matches with your expectations. The official date for the 
service release is 2/26/2010 [see http://wiki.eclipse.org/Galileo#SR2 ]

One sidenote: many of the people here in the newsgroup are working 
against the current development milestones (some of them even against 
CVS HEAD). Maybe this could be an option for you too.
