Hi Robert,

Please see the code in org.eclipse.ohf.ihe.xds.source.test.mesa in the 
src_tests/ folder of the XDs source plugin. In particular, test 11746 
shows code for submitting documets via XDS.a and test 12046 shows code 
to submit documents via XDS.b. You can follow this code as an example of 
how to write the code you'll need to run your own tests.
