Hi

I am putting together a plan for the Interoperability section
of the EOHF framework.  (For reference see the proposal.
The other sections shown in the proposal will be handled by
other committers.)

The interoperability components at this time include

    HL7 V2 messaging and tools
    HL7 V3 messaging and tools
    DICOM
    CDA/CCR support
    CTS
    Archetype support

Jiva is committing to acrtually providing the HL7 messaging
components and the CDA/CCR support.  I am looking for
interested parties for the balance of the components. Having
identified the components, our plan is to to nail down the
objectives and the features for the first revs.

We plan to use IHE profiles for validation where they apply,
so as part of the plan we will need to identify the
appropriate profiles for these components, if relevent.
We will also need integration and testing plans.

Our overall plan is to nail this down in September at the
EOHF meeting in San Diego. (hopefully this will be announced
soon).
