Looking at the overview diagram, I notice that several projects that are
just starting may provide additional building blocks beside those
mentioned (most are Technology subprojects):
* Higgins (formerly ETF) - (Eclipse) Trust Framework. This may contribute
to the left half of the Cross-Industry Frameworks bar.
* GMF - Graphical Modelling Framework. While it is unclear from the
diagram why both EMF and GEF are considered building blocks, the inclusion
of both indicates that GMF may be doing what you intend.
* MDDI - Model Driven Development Integration (Model Interchange) and
OMELET
* GMT - Generative Model Transformer
These might provide a technological background for Vocabulary and
Terminology Services.
* WTP - Web Tools Project. For the Web Service parts.
* Additionally, http://www.holongate.org/ offers an integration of Java2D
into SWT which may be interesting for working with medical images.
There may be more helpful Eclipse projects, especially among those in the
proposal phase.
