[News.eclipse.technology.mylar] Re: Roll back to 2.0M1?

Thanks Mik,

I'm up and running again.

I appreciated the desire to get accurate bug reports. My mistake was not allowing enough time in my day to deal with an update that might go bad. I had backed up my task list, but I didn't have a lot of time to "make-things-right" so I could be productive again.

It does look like the bug that Jörg entered is similar to what I had. I was getting a nullpointer and the message that it could not save the task list. Also, I noticed that all timings had gone away. Everything was at zero.

If I get a bigger window sometime this week, I will try again with with a build that has the fix for 180518.

Thanks,
-Tom

You can always revert to an older Mylar version by using an archive update site. For example, 2.0M1 for Eclipse 3.2 would be:

http://download.eclipse.org/technology/mylar/update-site-archive/2.0M1/e3.2

However, if you are seeing any kind of failures with 2.0M2 we ask that you please file a Bugzilla report so that we can diagnose whether this is a bug or a configuration problem.

Any way to roll back to 2.0M1? 2.0M2 was failing on saving my task list. I tried to disable 2.0M2 and restore a backed up task list and got some nullpointers in the task views. I uninstalled 2.0M2 and accidently uninstalled the 2.0M1 Bugzilla. So, I'm back except bugzilla. Any way to get to archived versions?

Thanks,
