[News.eclipse.technology.mylar] Re: Task Activity?

Tom,
You should be able to get all or most of the information that you are
looking for from the Scheduled presentation. The key difference is that
there is no column for Elapsed and Estimated time, and instead these
show in tooltips for tasks and the date range containers. To get the
"Past" and "Previous Week" containers you just need to toggle the "Focus
on Workweek" button off. To get custom reports of activity use File ->
New -> Mylar -> Task Activity Report. Also note that time tracking is
much more accurate in 2.0M2 than 2.0M1 because it now correctly accounts
for events like computer hibernation or VM crashes.
If you (or anyone else) still find yourself missing the Task Activity
view, please complain here or file a bug report indicating which of your
use cases are not supported:

Also note that the Task Activity view has not disappeared completely, it
has instead been moved in the Sandbox and is available from the
developer builds. But note we do not encourage installing the Sandbox
tools because they can clutter the UI.

Now that the Task Activity view has been replaced by the Scheduled
presentation of the Task List, is there any way to get a "report" of
historical activity on completed tasks? I was using the removed view to
help compile end-of-week reports on work done. From what I can tell,
the Scheduled presentation only shows what is yet to be done. And it is
much more difficult to find the time spent. Is time tracking being
removed from Mylar?
Thanks,
