The Eclipse MDDi Eclipse was approved in July of this year and we wanted
to give you an update about our activities.
A draft of high-level requirements has been released on the project web
site today (http://www.eclipse.org/mddi).
You will find it in the documentation section at the moment. Feel free to
provide feedback (comments, suggestions)
about the document. We will take this into account in a next version.
Initial contributions are being gathered and some high-level architecture
is being defined to cover these requirements.
We will provide related content and update the web site soon. A first
initial contribution: the model bus has been
submitted to the Eclipse legal department. It will be accessible on the
project CVS when the code review is completed.
If you want to know more about the MDDi project, you may be interested to
know that we submitted a short talk for
EclipseCon 06
(http://canuck.gda.itesm.mx/eclipsezilla/show_bug.cgi?id=47). This talk
would give a more detailed progress
report and introduce the objectives and technology behind the project.
We will be glad to answer any additional question you may have about MDDi.
