Hi Albert
There will hopefully be a relatively simple API that a tool needs
to observe in order to be useable with MDDi.
For an Eclipse based tool, it may be possible to provide the relevant
API compliance within a next release of the tool.
Alternatively a plug-in can be provided to provide the relevant
adapters between the tool and MDDi. This plug-in may be provided
by the tool vendor or by an enthusiastic tool user.
There will probably be some helper routines that assist in complying
with the API.

How do you want the cooperation between tools and mddi to work?
It's easy for one tool to export xmi and another to import it, but your
vision encompasses a much broader cooperation. Is there a common way or
standard you build on or do you rely on tool-builders to provide plugins to
fit into mddi?
