[News.eclipse.technology.mddi] Re: Literature

Albert,

I found "Model Driven Architecture: Applying MDA to Enterprise Computing" by
David Frankel to be a good coverage of the core concepts and highly
recommend it. "MDA Explained: The Model Driven Architecture: Practice and
Promise" by "Jos Warmer et el) is a shorter book, that although a little
light in certain conceptual areas manages to cover the end to end process
quite well. The OMG website www.omg.org is also a good place to look for
online resource. Most resources I've come across are a bit theoretical so
you may find this also. To get my hands dirty I hacked together noddy mda
based systems using EMF (www.elcipse.org/emf) and a UML tool.

Hope that helps,

Tas.
