[news.eclipse.technology.m2e] phasing out eclipse 3.3 support

Eclipse 3.3 is over two years old now and we think it is time for m2e to move on and concentrate our development and QA resources on Eclipse 3.4 and 3.5 work. Most immediately this only means that we stop running automated and manual m2e tests with Eclipse 3.3 but we plan to rework POM editor and refactoring backend to take advantage of Eclipse 3.4 APIs in the near future.

If somebody is interested in supporting m2e compatibility with Eclipse 3.3, please speak up on m2eclipse-dev mailing list.

And generally, we plan to only support most recent fixpack of the current and the previous Eclipse releases. So right now it is 3.5.0 and 3.4.2 and it will move to 3.5.1/3.4.2 once Galileo SR1 is out. Again, this is about managing available development and QA resources and if somebody is interested supporting other Eclipse version(s) please respond to this message on m2eclipse dev list.
