[news.eclipse.technology.laszlo] Re: IDEforLaszlo 0.20 for OpenLaszlo 3.2 Released
|
Sorry I haven't been scanning this forum often enough:
Suggestions:
1: Install eclipse wtp-1.0 all in one to a new directory (don't destroy your
existing install )
2: Install laszlo plugin .2
3: Create a brand new workspace
4: Try to create a new laszlo project.
If 1 - 4 work continuing in this workspace you can upgrade to eclipse 3.1.2
using the update center (search the forum you may have to enter a new remote
url for it to find the upgrade to 3.1.2 using the software update option.
After the upgrade via the upgrade center it should still work.
Now open your old workspace - does laszlo ide work? Probably not. There
is some sort of bug that is workspace related that happens such that only
workspaces created after the laszlo plugin was installed work. You can go
back to your working workspace and tell it to import the projects (complete
with settings) that you had in the old workspace and they should now work
fine.
This has worked for me in the past and I'd be interested in finding out if
it works also for you.
