[news.eclipse.technology.kepler] Thinking about Project Groups

One of the aspects of the model that I think we need to start looking 
at is the nature of grouping together projects.

Currently at the grainular level we are thinking about a project in a 
singular nature - however these are consumable items of functionality,  
while there will be a need to understand how these fit together into 
something greater.

The feature model in Eclipse is one way, in Maven we have the concept 
of pom type projects to bring together child components.

There is an implied taxnomony in the id since it is of the form.

org.eclipse.project.component

I was wondering if people had other examples of how groupings might 
occur,  should there be a project to pull together components - much 
like features?  Do people have much experience with the provisioning 
meta-data?
