My view on the things:

I agree with most of the points Marc mentioned in the copied post before. 
However, the BPDM metamodel is very complex and I guess it would be 
inappropriate to base our workflow editor on BPDM as it would get quite 
complex and would not be easily extensible anymore (and that's one thing 
we want to achieve and also presented at the Eclipse Summit Europe!).
Therefore a smaller metamodel (as the one by JWT/AgilPro or the STP-IM) 
are much better suited for this purpose.
Additionally, I agree that we need to have a code generation of XPDL code 
(which will be done in a first version till the end of the year in the 
context of the SCOrWare project) as well as of BPEL code (first version 
available from the University of Augsburg, soon available on the 
sourceforge site).
