[news.eclipse.technology.jsr220-orm] Re: when will the JDO persistent feature accomplish in jsr220-orm?
|
Hi Leon,
The tooling does not support JDO meta data at this time. It is a question
of resources and since the industry movement is in the direction of JSR220,
this is where the team is concentrating its efforts. However, the tooling
is open and created in such a way that artifacts for other runtimes can be
easily generated. The mapping requirements are very similar, so once we get
the XML meta data support in place for JSR220 runtimes it would be very easy
for someone to extend to support JDO meta data. We are encouraging other
interested parties to get involved in this initiative.
Regards,
-Robert
