[news.eclipse.technology.gmt.amw] Re: Problem with AMW examples

hello,

in page 2/3, you select the existing model, for example "FK2Nested_AMW.ecore".

The first text field "Container" verify if you have the exact location of the weaving model (project + folder, for example "Keys2Nested_AMW/models/"). If you leave only the project, it will not find the model.

Marcos.

Hello,

this issue is probably related with you previous posts, where you were not able to load the metamodels. You are using Ubuntu, right?

I am working on that now.

Marcos.

Hi,

to use the examples on the website (www.eclipse.org/gmt/amw/examples) I load the project files into an Eclipse project and configure everything the way it's explained in the documentation. There's a problem with using the wizard to load existing weaving models though. Every time I try to do this, for example in the Keys2Nested_AMW, Keys2Nested_AMW2ATL and UMLProfiles_DSLs examples, after configuring weaving metamodel (step 1/3), weaving model (step 2/3) and left and right metamodels (step 3/3) I get a "Weaving model file "FK2Nested_AMW.ecore" does not exist" error message, after which nothing happens. Is there any explanation for this?

Thanks,
Didier
