[news.eclipse.technology.gmt.amw] Re: AMW plugin

hello Franco,

you mean transform the Ecore model into an ATL file, right? Because the transformation generates an ATL model in .ecore.

These menus (to inject/extract KM3 models, ATL models, Ecore models, etc.) are part of the AM3 plugins. So you should install the AM3 plugins as well. They are available at http://www.eclipse.org/gmt/am3/download/.

Once installed (or if you already have them), you should be in the AM3 perspective (in Eclipse). The menu is not available neither in the ATL perspective, neither the AMW perspective.

Regards,

Marcos.

Hi Marcos,
Thank you for your explanations, so now I'm looking at HOT transformations : ATL2Tracer & ATL2WTracer.
but I still have a problem : in these examples, the starting atl transformation that will be augmented with "trace code" is first transformed in an ecore model, and I do not have the menu entry or find something to transform an atl file in an ecore model.

I have the last ATL plugin (20060630) and eclipse 3.1.2

thank you
Franco.
