[news.eclipse.technology.ercp] Re: eSWT on Win Mobile 5.0

WM5 supports 2 softkeys. So when the "softkey label bar" is displayed you
see the virtual keyboard icon in the middle of the bar. We've had a great
deal of trouble supporting softkeys on WM5 because MS chose to make the
label information only settable from within resources and did not provide an
API to set the labels. This is ok for native apps where all the labels are
predetermined. But in eRCP, we can run any number of applications within the
same process and thus we need the ability to change the labels on the fly.
Therefore, we have been sticking with using the Menubar for Commands as we
did for WM2003.

If anyone knows (or has any ideas) how to work-around this limitation,
please let me know.
