That's the spec theory. On the practical side the J9 PPro 5.7.1 contains internal classes which clash with eswt internal classes, see eg message news://news.eclipse.org:119/dco3s5$vod$1@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx with the subject "A workaround to run the eRCP's demo under IBM PPro10".
