[news.eclipse.technology.ercp] Re: ConstrainedText questions

Hi,

It seems the ConstrainedText PhoneNumber style does not allow a few "white
space" characters which are typically used for North American phone
numbers. These are "(", ")", and "-". They have no meaning for dialers but
In Germany sometimes "/" is also used.
Also do you allow a "+" currently?
Also, less of an issue but still something that we should consider, is that
a user may wish to use "white space" numeric separators like "," in the
ConstrainedText Numeric and Decimal styles. For instance, "123,456.78". What
do you think about this?
I would disallow this, since it adds considerable confusion in countries
where the two symbol are used the other way round (eg germany).
