is there any guide for how to build different products?

current  i want to build a eclipse product with only eclipse itself  and 
without jdt and pdt and cdt and mylyn...

AND there is no such thing to download from eclipse:(

IS it possible to do this using what you said rebuilding.
how to do this?

do i need to download all source code. or 

some kinds of plug-in pool to generate a product.

IF you write some blog/guide on this , it will be helpful .
