[news.eclipse.technology.epf] Meaning of circles for steps in process vi

Hello,

I was wondering about the following: When I create steps for a tasks in 
the process view every step gets a little circle. With openUP, these 
circles are sometime filled and sometimes not. The circles EPF creates 
for my method are never filled. What is the meaning behind the circles 
beeing filled or not? How can I influence this?
