[news.eclipse.technology.emft] getting started with compare

Hey All,
What do you suggest a newbie for getting started with emf compare? I'm 
sure this question is asked many times, but I'm not finding the 
information I'm looking for. Regarding my background, I've some experience 
working with emf but none with compare. 

I came across these set of examples in the source repositories. I'm not 
sure if this is the right place to get started with.
