I've suggested the similar procedure in one of my mails addressed to 
EILF-Team at the beginning of this week.

The idea was to brainstorm in newsgroup this week, than pick a couple of 
 "most promising/interesting" suggestions and than to vote for the best 
name in our internal Wiki next week. (I'll create the dedicated page for 
this.) Non team members can post their votes directly in newsgroup and 
I'll add them in our Wiki.
The voting should be completed by the end of the week. Right after that, 
the results will be posted in the newsgroup by me.
