There is also another point for the "L".

We have already a predecessor product called EIF - Enterpise Information 
Framework. And we have done a lot of marketing in this area. This framework 
has the same goal as the currently planned initative and its currently known 
at a lot of our customers (e.g. automotive, banks, ...)

I am currently discussing whether we could use that name also.

Would the pronounciation be better?

At that time empolis wanted the "L".
